Data categories: identity (first and last name), contact (email, phone, city), professional background (LinkedIn, GitHub and portfolio links, CV, other files), application details (area, message).
No law or contract requires you to give us this data. We need the fields marked * on the form to consider your application; everything else is your choice.
Please leave health, religion, political views, union membership, criminal records and ID numbers out of your CV and message. We do not need them. If such data reaches us anyway, we do not take it into account. When we notice it, we remove it or ask you to send a new version.
If you name referees or other people, please tell them first.
Recipient groups and purposes of transfer
Our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), our form delivery provider Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend, USA) and our email provider Zoho Corporation B.V. (Netherlands; it keeps email in its US data centre and uses its group company in India as a sub-processor) receive your data so that the form works and your application reaches us and is stored; your data is therefore transferred abroad. Resend keeps the message and the delivery record for up to 30 days. The legal reason is our legitimate interest in running the hiring process (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). Lawyers, advisers, courts and authorised public bodies receive it only where the law requires it or a legal claim needs it (KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç) and (e)).
We are based in Türkiye, so your application is processed there. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the adequacy position, the safeguards for these transfers and how to get a copy are in Transfers abroad in the Privacy Policy.
How we collect data
Collected from you partly by automated means, in electronic form, through the application form, email, WhatsApp and the work sample, and by non-automated means on phone calls and in interviews. If you give us links, we look at the public profiles they lead to.
How long we keep it
If your application does not lead to a job, we delete it within 6 months after our last reply to you. If you ticked the box on the form, we keep it for up to 2 years after that date and then delete it. If we hire you, it becomes part of your employment records, under a separate notice. You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
Your rights under KVKK
You can send your requests under KVKK Art. 11, as the Communiqué on applications to the controller requires, in writing, in Turkish, to Kolektif House, Barbaros Mah. Begonya Sok. No: 1/2, 34746 Ataşehir / İstanbul, Türkiye; with a secure electronic or mobile signature to info@odeontech.com; or to info@odeontech.com from the email address you have already given us and that is in our records. Your right to object. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies: we rely on legitimate interests for part of this processing, and you can object at any time, on grounds relating to your situation. We then stop, unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or we need the data for a legal claim. Write to info@odeontech.com.
